The DeSpain Team

DeSpain Dermatology Center 's professional staff includes physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and estheticians who have received advanced certification and clinical training in dermatology. Each has been chosen for their professionalism and sensitivity, and can competently support, and in some cases administer, specific treatment regimens. Our staff function as an important extension of Dr. DeSpain to ensure that his philosophy and commitment to treating the whole patient, not just their condition, is thoroughly implemented.

Referring Patients

We make every effort to accomodate each physician referral to the best of our ability. Physicians referrals are seen Monday through Friday and we accept almost every insurance plan. Dr. DeSpain and Dr. Cayce make it their goal to communicate appropriately with all referring physicians through fax and phone calls. We believe that this provides the best patient care.

Communicating with Secure Email

You may also communicate with our office via secure messaging. This secure email program allows us to share lab results, office notes and more with patients and referring physicians in a secure manner.

How to Set Up an Appointment

Please call (573) 234-1000 to speak with a Patient Service Coordinator. They can schedule the appointment as well as answer any questions you may have.

New Patient Instructions

Patient should arrive 30 minutes prior to their appointment to fill out paperwork OR patients may pre-register online by choosing "My Account" on our homepage and arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time.

Please instruct the patient to bring their insurance card to their appointment. We currently accept most insurance plans, including BCBS Anthem, United Healthcare, Healthlink, and GHP. Call our office or contact your insurance company if you are unsure if we are providers for a plan.
