Meet Dr. Cayce

We are proud to announce the addition of Kimberly Cayce, MD to DeSpain Dermatology Center.  Dr. Cayce’s first day at our office will be Friday, July 6, 2007, and she will be seeing patients that day.  Dr. Cayce will be assisting with return patient follow-up care and seeing new patients as well as doctor referrals. She will join the staff of Boone Hospital Center.
           
Dr. Cayce is a Mid-Missouri native having grown up in California, MO.  She graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City’s School of Medicine and completed her residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC.   Dr. Cayce is currently a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Medical Dermatology Association, and the American Medical Association.  She received recognition when she graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City for the American Medical Women’s Association Scholarship Achievement Citation and also Medical School Graduation with Distinction.

           Along with this wonderful addition to our practice we have expanded the panel of insurance plans we participate with.  Please feel free to send any referrals our way and join us in helping welcome Dr. Kimberly Cayce and her family back to the area.

Credentials

Dr Cayce is a member of the Medical Dermatology Society, American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Medical Association. She has publsihed numerous medical articles, with topics ranging from choosing the optimum treatment for acne to treatment of psoriasis and utilizing health care for young children.

Although Dr. Cayce has traveled outside the area to complete her medical training, she is pleased to return to Columbia. In her spare time she enjoys ultimate frisbee, travel, basketball and attending theater productions.
